Excitement Builds for T20 World Cup in Varanasi

Varanasi, February 7: The atmosphere in India is electric as the T20 World Cup approaches, and Varanasi is no exception. Ahead of India’s first match, a private school in the city witnessed tremendous enthusiasm among children for Team India. The entire campus was adorned with the spirit of cricket and patriotism.

During the event, students painted the Indian flag on their cheeks and held symbols of the World Cup trophy while singing patriotic songs. Through this celebration, young cricket fans cheered for the Indian players and wished them success. The school resonated with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “India-India,” creating a fervent atmosphere of nationalism.

The children expressed their excitement for Team India, particularly captain Suryakumar Yadav, and expressed hopes for India to win the T20 World Cup and bring glory to the nation.

School manager Rakesh shared with the news agency that the enthusiasm among children for the T20 World Cup is remarkable. Cricket has become their favorite sport. The kids envision themselves as future stars like Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, or Abhishek Sharma. They are well-informed about matches and player performances, making this a significant source of inspiration as they eagerly anticipate India’s victories.

Student Saumya stated, “We are praying for Team India to perform brilliantly and return victorious.”

Ganga devotee Rajesh Shukla noted that the T20 World Cup is kicking off at Wankhede Stadium. “We prayed before Mother Ganga today for the Indian cricket team to win every match. We hope Team India brings joy to the entire country by winning this World Cup. We continuously pray to Baba Vishwanath and Mother Ganga for our team’s success in every encounter, boosting their morale for outstanding performances.”
