Bihars Vaibhav Suryaanshi Shines in U-19 World Cup Final

Patna, February 6: Star batsman Vaibhav Suryaanshi from Bihar delivered an explosive performance in the Under-19 World Cup final against England. He scored an impressive 175 runs off just 80 balls. His remarkable innings has garnered admiration from Bihar’s government officials.

Minister Shreyasi Singh congratulated Suryaanshi, expressing pride that a young talent from Bihar is bringing honor to the state. She stated, “I am confident that with the infrastructure being developed for cricket in Bihar, many more players like Vaibhav will emerge and elevate the state’s reputation.”

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary praised Suryaanshi in a post on X, stating, “Vaibhav Suryaanshi, the pride of Bihar and India, has not only made our state proud with his 175 runs but has also filled the entire nation with pride. Your hard work and talent prove that the youth of Bihar are second to none. You are an inspiration to millions. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha highlighted Suryaanshi’s historic performance, noting that he set records for the highest score, most sixes in an innings, and the second-fastest century in just 55 balls during the final match. He emphasized that Suryaanshi is making a name for himself worldwide and serves as an inspiration for Bihar’s youth, sending a message that talent and hard work can lead to global recognition.

Minister Dilip Jaiswal referred to Suryaanshi as a shining star in the cricketing world, stating that his outstanding innings not only elevated Bihar’s status but also that of the entire nation. He remarked, “Your dedication proves that talent knows no age or boundaries.”
