BJP Leaders Condemn Rahul Gandhis Remarks on Sikh Community

New Delhi, February 6: BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Baburam Nishad condemned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi‘s comment referring to Ravneet Singh Bittu as a “traitor friend.”

Nishad criticized Gandhi’s statement, asserting that the Congress party harbors hatred towards the Sikh community. He pointed out that instances of Congress‘s animosity towards Sikhs have surfaced multiple times. He deemed Gandhi’s remarks about Bittu as reprehensible, stating that such comments are unacceptable in a civilized society. He emphasized that derogatory statements against any community are inappropriate.

BJP leader Dr. K. Lakshman also criticized Rahul Gandhi, claiming that the Congress party has long shown disdain for the Sikh community. He linked this animosity to the anti-Sikh riots, stating that Gandhi’s comments about Bittu are fundamentally wrong. In a democratic setup, such statements should not be tolerated, he asserted.

Lakshman claimed that it is evident to everyone how much the Congress party despises the Sikh community. He accused the party of exploiting various communities for political gain, which will no longer be accepted in today’s aware society.

Additionally, BJP leader Brijlal condemned the disruption of Parliament sessions, attributing it to a conspiracy by Congress. He noted that the entire nation is witnessing Congress’s attempts to obstruct Lok Sabha sessions to prevent meaningful discussions on public issues. However, as a Rajya Sabha member, he stated that their sessions have proceeded smoothly with open discussions on various topics. He insisted that the disruption caused by the India Mahagathbandhan’s conspiracy cannot be tolerated, and Congress must understand that they will not receive any forgiveness for their actions.

Brijlal further criticized Congress for using its female MPs to disrupt proceedings, stating that the nation has observed this behavior, which is entirely inappropriate. He called for Congress to apologize for their actions, warning that they will have to answer for their deeds.

He also expressed concerns over the film titled “Corrupt Priest,” stating that such a name would promote casteism in society. He demanded a ban on the film’s title.

Meanwhile, Union Minister of State B.L. Verma also condemned Rahul Gandhi’s remarks regarding Ravneet Singh Bittu. He stated that this is not just an insult to Bittu but to the entire Sikh community. Verma indicated that Gandhi’s statement reflects the Congress party’s underlying anger towards Sikhs.

He concluded by asserting that Gandhi is known for his inappropriate remarks, which further highlights the Congress party’s disdain for the Sikh community.
