Modi Highlights Indias Growth and Challenges in Rajya Sabha Speech

New Delhi, February 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, responding to President Droupadi Murmu’s speech. He emphasized that India is showcasing its full potential. This is possible when there is economic strength, energy among citizens, and a robust ecosystem for manufacturing, making the world eager to engage with the nation.

He criticized those entrenched in vote bank Politics, stating they have never prioritized strengthening various aspects of the country. Regarding the Congress party, he asserted that they lacked vision, thought, and willpower.

Modi highlighted the recent trade agreements that will significantly benefit the youth, including those from rural and urban areas, as well as the middle class. He noted that global markets are now open to them, presenting new opportunities.

He reassured the youth, stating, “I stand shoulder to shoulder with you, and the world is ready to embrace your talents and ambitions.”

The Prime Minister remarked that a considerable amount of effort is being directed towards correcting the mistakes made by the Congress party. He mentioned the negative image left by their governance and emphasized the need for a future-ready policy. “Today, you must have noticed that the country is operating on a policy basis. This is why trust in the nation is growing globally. The country is now on the reform express,” he added.

Modi pointed out that even the most developed countries are expelling illegal immigrants. However, he criticized the undue pressure on courts to protect these infiltrators, who he claimed are depriving the youth of their rights and livelihoods while occupying the lands of tribal communities. “Yet, these individuals come here to preach to us!” he concluded.
