ICC Unveils Broadcast Details for Mens T20 World Cup 2026

Dubai, February 5: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the broadcast plan for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. This tournament will feature 20 teams competing in a total of 55 matches, starting from February 7 and concluding on March 8.

India and Sri Lanka will co-host the event, allowing fans worldwide to watch the tournament on television, mobile, digital platforms, radio, and through innovative technologies.

Official practice matches leading up to the main events will also be broadcast on select TV and digital platforms, giving fans a glimpse of the teams’ preparations.

In India, the tournament will be broadcast by JioStar. Matches will air on Star Sports channels and be available for digital streaming on the JioCinema app.

All matches in India will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Additionally, coverage in Bengali, Bhojpuri, and Haryanvi will be provided on JioCinema. Matches, semifinals, and finals will also be broadcast in Marathi and Indian Sign Language.

For mobile viewers, JioCinema will offer vertical live feeds in English and Hindi, along with options for 360-degree views and multi-camera angles.

Some matches will also be shown in PVR-Inox cinemas across the country during the T20 World Cup.

In Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives, matches can be viewed via Star Sports. In Sri Lanka, Dialog TV will be the official broadcasting partner, providing commentary in Sinhala. Coverage will be enhanced through Dialog TV’s free-to-air partner, TV Supreme, and Sri Lanka Telecom’s PEO TV platform.

Fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland can catch the action on Sky Sports Cricket and Sky Sports Main Event, with digital streaming available via NOW. Sky Sports will also provide Hindi commentary for the semifinals and finals.

Italy will participate in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup for the first time, with Sky Italia broadcasting all of Italy’s matches, including the semifinals and finals.

South African cricket fans can watch all live action through SuperSport’s extensive TV and digital services across Sub-Saharan Africa.

In Australia, coverage will be available on Prime Video, featuring additional Hindi commentary feeds for all of India’s matches, semifinals, and finals. New Zealand fans can watch matches on Sky Sports, which will also provide Hindi commentary for all of India’s matches.

In Pakistan, coverage will be provided by PTV and MyKO, with support from digital partners. The ICC will create a dedicated Urdu commentary feed for Pakistan matches, broadcast on PTV Home and streamed by digital partners.

Willow TV will continue to provide live coverage of ICC events in the United States and Canada. All 55 matches will be streamed in both English and Hindi, with free access for viewers in the U.S. and Canada. Matches will also be available for free on Willow’s official YouTube channel.

Commentary in English and Hindi will be available through Willow DTC and Cricbuzz DTC platforms, while other Willow platforms will feature English commentary only. In partnership with popular social media personality Zomboy, Willow will offer an alternative commentary option for USA vs. India and USA vs. Pakistan matches.

In the UAE and the larger MENA region, the tournament will be broadcast on CricketLife Max, accessible via Starzplay.

ESPN will broadcast all matches live in the Caribbean Islands, while the Disney Plus app will stream the event throughout Latin America. Additionally, some matches in Brazil will feature Portuguese commentary on ESPN’s linear TV platform.

Total Sports Management (Bangladesh) will broadcast the event on major linear channels T Sports and Nagorik TV, as well as the digital platform RabbitHole.

Other broadcasters include PNG Digital (Pacific Islands), Hub Sports 4 (Singapore), and Lemar TV (Afghanistan), which will also provide commentary in Pashto and Dari. In Nepal, Kantipur TV will broadcast the tournament, producing some matches locally in Nepali.

Nepali commentary will also be available in some regions via ICC.TV, increasing accessibility for Nepali-speaking audiences. In the Netherlands, NOS will live stream all matches.

Additionally, in many regions, ICC Live Video will be complemented by the ICC mobile app, offering commentary in English worldwide. In the UK and Ireland, BBC Radio will provide coverage, while in Australia, fans can listen on ABC and SEN.

For Indian audiences, All India Radio will offer live audio commentary, and in Sri Lanka, Derana FM will provide ball-by-ball live commentary for all matches.
