February 6 Panchang: Auspicious and Inauspicious Times to Note

New Delhi, February 5: The Panchang holds significant importance in Sanatan Dharma. It provides not only the timings for worship but also daily activities, sunrise, and sunset information, along with auspicious and inauspicious timings for the day. February 6, which falls on a Friday, marks the Panchami Tithi of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Phalgun.

On this Friday, the Hasta Nakshatra and the Moon will be in the Virgo zodiac, which is considered favorable for certain activities. However, it’s also crucial to consider Rahukaal and other inauspicious periods. The five main elements of the Panchang include Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, and Vara.

According to the Drik Panchang, the Panchami Tithi of the Krishna Paksha will last from 1:18 PM until the night of February 6. The Hasta Nakshatra will remain effective from 12:23 PM until the night of February 7. The Moon will transit through the Virgo zodiac. Sunrise will occur at 7:06 AM, and sunset will be at 6:04 PM.

On Friday, the Dhriti Yoga will be in effect until 11:37 AM. The Kaulav Karana will last until 12:45 PM, followed by the Taitil Karana from 1:18 PM until February 7.

For those planning auspicious activities, it’s essential to consider the important timings. The Brahma Muhurat will be from 5:22 AM to 6:14 AM. The Abhijit Muhurat will be from 12:13 PM to 12:57 PM, and the Vijay Muhurat will be from 2:25 PM to 3:09 PM. Additionally, the Ghodhuli Muhurat will be from 6:02 PM to 6:28 PM, while the Amrit Kaal will last from 6:02 PM to 7:44 PM.

According to religious scriptures, activities performed during inauspicious times do not yield favorable results, so it’s advisable to avoid them. On Friday, Rahukaal will occur from 11:13 AM to 12:35 PM, Yamagand from 3:20 PM to 4:42 PM, and Gulika Kaal from 8:29 AM to 9:51 AM. It is prohibited to undertake auspicious tasks during these periods.
