Sunita Ahuja Calls Marriage a Trouble on MasterChef India

Mumbai, February 4: Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, recently expressed her views on marriage during an episode of the cooking reality show ‘MasterChef India.’ She humorously referred to the marital bond as akin to a ‘trouble.’

In a lively segment, Sunita engaged with contestant Saishree, chef Vikas Khanna, and the MasterChef duo of Saishree and Chandana, showcasing a blend of progressive thinking and comedy.

The conversation took a turn when Saishree discussed her plans to prioritize her career and establish her own business. Turning to Saishree’s mother, Sunita quipped, “Marriage is a big trouble; let her focus on business. If the girl stands on her own, a good boy will come along.”

Adding to the banter, Chef Vikas Khanna emphasized the importance of career but also noted that marriage is one of life’s most beautiful milestones. Sunita’s eyes lit up as she seized the moment, asking, “Why haven’t you done it yet?”

Clearly flustered, Vikas attempted to defend himself, stating, “Recognition is more important to me than marriage.” Not one to back down, Sunita laughed and replied, “You have recognition; oh, now I will find a girl for you! What kind do you want? Someone like me, or better, or more decent?” Vikas graciously responded, “Who could be better than you?”

‘MasterChef India’ is available on Sony ENTERTAINMENT Television and Sony Liv.
