BJP General Secretary BL Santosh Visits Bhopal for Key Meetings

Bhopal, February 4: BL Santosh, the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), arrived in Bhopal on Wednesday. He is overseeing the ongoing awareness campaign regarding the central budget and the VB-G Ramji bill, meeting with state party leaders.

Upon his arrival at the state party headquarters in Bhopal, Santosh received a warm welcome from party workers and officials.

According to the Madhya Pradesh BJP media cell, Santosh addressed the budget awareness campaign and the state team for VB-Ramji during a meeting at the BJP state office. Mahendra Singh, the party’s state in-charge, was also present at the gathering.

Before leading the important meeting, Santosh visited a private hospital to inquire about the health of Hitanand Sharma’s mother, the former organizational general secretary of Madhya Pradesh. She is currently seriously ill and receiving treatment in Bhopal. Santosh’s hospital visit is viewed as a positive gesture within the organization.

It is noteworthy that Hitanand Sharma has been reassigned to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He previously served as the state general secretary (organization) for over four years. His new role is as the head of the regional office for intellectual promotion of the RSS in Jabalpur, overseeing responsibilities in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Sources indicated that this decision was made during an RSS meeting held in Indore a few days ago.

Sharma, who has long been associated with Vidya Bharati, was first appointed as the co-organizational general secretary of the state BJP in 2020 when Suhas Bhagat was the organizational general secretary.
