BJP Criticizes Congress, Claims Rahul Gandhi Disgraced Democracy

New Delhi, February 4: BJP lawmakers have accused Congress of disrupting proceedings in the House. They assert that Congress has committed acts that disgrace democracy within the parliamentary walls.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh stated, “Actions that disgrace Democracy occurred inside the House. Rahul Gandhi seems to think this is the Congress party’s office. Speaking against the nation is never a positive act. This has happened under a conspiracy against the country led by Rahul Gandhi.”

He further claimed that the Congress party has become a hub for theatrics. Just as lies and confusion are spread in drama, Rahul Gandhi is doing the same. This behavior is shameful for democracy. Rahul Gandhi believes that Parliament is the Congress party’s office and that no one else can govern in this building.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju targeted Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi over a letter in which Gandhi alleged he was not allowed to speak in the Lok Sabha. Minister Rijiju responded, “I have already answered this. He said he would speak outside the rules. We waited two days, but others should also get a chance to speak. He cannot speak arbitrarily. This is India’s Parliament; one must speak according to the rules.”

BJP MP Arun Govil criticized Rahul Gandhi’s conduct, stating, “His behavior deserves condemnation. If a Member of Parliament behaves this way, it is very shameful. Rahul Gandhi often seems unaware of what he says and how he behaves in the House.”

BJP MP Shashank Mani commented on the suspension of eight opposition MPs, saying, “Action was taken against them for violating the dignity of Parliament. The actions taken against them are justified. If anyone else creates a ruckus like this, I am confident the Speaker will take similar action.”

BJP MP Darshan Singh Chaudhary remarked, “Congress’s accusations are baseless. The way Rahul Gandhi and his supporters have behaved is an affront to the dignity of Parliament.”
