Tragic Leap: Three Sisters Die After Jumping from 9th Floor in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, February 4: In a heartbreaking incident in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, three minor sisters tragically jumped from the ninth floor of their building, resulting in their deaths. The incident occurred in the Bharat City Society, located in the Teela Mod area of Ghaziabad. The local police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragedy.

Reports indicate that the sisters jumped together around 2 AM. They have been identified as Nishika (16 years old), Prachi (14 years old), and Pakhi (12 years old). Their family resides in flat 907 of the B-1 tower in Bharat City Society.

It has been revealed that the sisters were addicted to playing mobile games, particularly an online task-based Korean love game. Their gaming habit had become so intense that they would often combine daily activities such as bathing, eating, attending school, and sleeping. This led to the tragic decision to jump from the building together. The family is in shock, and the exact reason for the suicide remains unclear.

Following the report of the minors’ suicide, a police team arrived at the scene late at night. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination. The police are working diligently to uncover the reasons behind the sisters’ tragic act.

In a related incident earlier, a young woman staying at a hotel in Sector 19, Noida, committed suicide by hanging herself. The deceased has been identified as Komal, a resident of Faridabad. Her boyfriend, Sumit Gautam, from North Delhi, was also present at the hotel. The couple had been in a relationship since December 2024. Reports suggest that late at night, Komal allegedly took her own life in their hotel room. Sumit informed the police, who subsequently arrived and sent the body for post-mortem while questioning him about the incident.
